What we collect
- Your pet's photo, to generate your video.
- Your generated videos, so you can watch and download them from your order page.
- Order details: the email address you give at checkout, the pack and the amount. Card details go to our payment processor, never to us.
- Basic usage data: pages viewed, the site that referred you, and a random visitor ID stored in your browser, so we can see which pages help people.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores files.
- APIMart (apimart.ai) runs the AI video model, ByteDance Seedance 2.0, that animates your photo, and checks the photo for prohibited content before generating.
- Waffo Pancake processes payments as our Merchant of Record.
We don't sell your data and don't use your photos to train models. We don't send marketing emails.
How long we keep it
Uploaded photos are deleted automatically: 2 days after upload if they were never used in a paid order, otherwise 30 days after upload. Generated videos are kept so your order link keeps working. You can delete your photo and videos yourself at any time with Delete my photo and videos on your order page, or email us to do it. Order records are kept as required for tax and accounting.
Cookies and browser storage
We don't use advertising cookies. The site stores a random visitor ID and a link to your latest order in your browser's local storage, so it can show you a way back to your videos. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Your data rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the data we hold about you and get a copy of your photo and videos.
- Correct your email address or other order details.
- Delete your photo, your videos and your order data. Your photo and videos you can delete yourself, instantly, from your order page. There are no user accounts, so deleting your order data removes everything tied to you; we only keep the payment record our Merchant of Record needs for tax and accounting.
- Object to usage statistics, or withdraw consent you gave when uploading a photo.
Email support@clappingcatai.com from the address you used at checkout, or include your order ID, so we can confirm the request is yours. We reply within 30 days, usually much sooner. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is not meant for anyone under 18, and photos of people, including children, are not allowed.
